Jasper National Park’s Maligne Lake
Jasper National Park’s Maligne Lake is the largest natural lake in the Canadian Rockies. A long with a day backtracking to the Colombia Icefield made a great culmination to our hiking in the Rockies.
I enjoyed the beauty of Maligne Lake and its surrounding mountains and glaciers at leisure drinking coffee and eating cake. As you can see below; it made a great combination!

With the hiking at an end, the next part of the adventure was on the Athabasca River. Our guide and some of our group parted; we had bonded well and made good friendships.
